If your company or business uses Puyallup Avenue between Portland Avenue and C Street, you should attend a design charrette Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at LaQuinta Inn, 1425 East 27th Street in the Oak Room.
A follow-up open house is scheduled for the same venue later that day from 5 to 7 p.m.
This charrette is open to all stakeholders and will include street design, a site walk and group design sessions. There are discussions to make this corridor more bike, pedestrian and transit friendly that could result in challenges to your business. If semi-trucks access your facility via Puyallup Avenue, let your needs and requirements be heard Nov. 9.
