The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • March 24 & 25: SR-99 viaduct closed 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Denny Way and S. Spokane Street for semi-annual inspection.
  • March 24 & 25: Southbound I-5 reduced to one lane at night between SR-520 and Stewart Street; Mercer Street on-ramp closed.
  • March 24: March for Our Lives rally and march. 9 a.m. rally at Cal Anderson Park followed by 11 a.m. march to Seattle Center.
  • March 29: Seattle Mariners 2018 home opener vs. Cleveland Indians at 7:10 p.m. at Safeco Field.
  • March 30 - April 1: Sakura-Con '18 at the Washington State Convention Center.
  • March 31 - April 1: 1st Avenue S. closed in both directions between Yesler Way and S. Jackson Street during underground utility work.
