The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Dec. 4 - Jan. 2018: Sections of the Burke-Gilman Trail closed in northeast Seattle during trail maintenance.
- Dec. 8 - 10: Northbound lanes of Corson Ave. S. closed between S. Michigan St. and Airport Way S.
- Dec. 9 - 10: Southbound Fairview Ave. N. closed between Mercer and Harrison Streets during roadway restoration work.
- Dec. 10: Jingle Bell Run will close the I-5 Express Lanes and downtown streets Sunday morning.
- Dec. 11: Columbia 2-Way Transit Corridor Project begins. First work zone is on the north side of Columbia St. between 1st and 2nd Ave.
- Dec. 17: Seahawks host the L.A. Rams at 1:05 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
- Dec. 20: SR-520 pedestrian and bicycle trail across Lake Washington opens at 3 p.m.
