The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

  • March 4 - April 4: Alaskan Way will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Yesler Way and Madison St. for approx. 30 days.
  • March 11 - 15 & 18 - 22: NB Aurora Ave will be closed from Denny Way to Harrison St., 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • March 14 - 17: Emerald City Comic Con at Washington State Convention Center.
  • March 16: 48th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Seattle, 12:30 p.m.
  • March 16: Monster Jam at CenturyLink Field, 7 - 11 p.m. Pits open 12:30 - 5:30 p.m.
  • March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Dash starts and finishes at the Seattle Center, 8 a.m.
  • March 23: Supercross at CenturyLink Field, 7 - 11 p.m. FanFest hours: noon - 6 p.m.
  • March 23: All tunnel buses to permanently transition to surface streets.
  • April 12: Full closure of SB SR 99 Tunnel, Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 8 a.m.
