The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- May 23: Yesler Bridge Rehabilitation Project begins; Yesler Wy. closed between 3rd Ave. and 6th Ave. for approximately 16 mos.
- May 27 - 30: Northwest Folklife Festival at Seattle Center.
- May 31: Meridian Ave. N. Paving and Safety Improvements Project begins; work limits are N. 103rd St. to N. 112th St.
- June 3 - 6: Westbound I-90 closed between Bellevue and Seattle; traffic will be diverted to the express lanes.
- June 5: Race for the Cure will close streets in Downtown and around the Seattle Center.
- June 11: University of Washington Commencement.
