The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- All special events, sporting events, and concerts have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled until further notice due to novel coronavirus concerns, per Governor Jay Inslee's Emergency Declaration.
- March 23 - TBD: The West Seattle High-Rise Bridge is closed until further notice.
- March 28: 1st Ave closed between Spring St. and Madison St. for a crane. 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- March 30 - April 10: S Main St. closed eastbound from 1st Ave S. to Occidental Ave S. to remove the trolley platform. 24/7.
- April 1 - 10: Lane reductions on Madison St. between Terry Ave and Minor Ave for utility work. Monday - Friday nightly 7 p.m. - 6 a.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- April 6 - May 4: S King St. closed westbound from 1st Ave S to Alaskan Way S for a water main installation. 24/7.
- April 10: Full southbound closure of the SR99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance. Friday 10 p.m. - Saturday 8 a.m.
