The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

  • June 12 & 13: NB I-5 - 3 left lanes closed from Olive Way to SR 520, nightly 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
  • June 14 - 17: Mercer St. fully closed westbound from Fairview Ave. N to Boren Ave. N, SB I-5 exit closed. Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 4 a.m.
  • June 14 - 16: The mainline of SB I-5 closed and traffic diverted to the collector / distributor, nightly 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
  • June 14 - 17: The Aurora Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction, Fri 7 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • June 15: University of Washington Commencement at Husky Stadium.  Doors open at 12:30 p.m.  Procession begins at 1:30 p.m.
  • June 22 & 23: Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade. The 31st annual parade begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
  • June 30: Seattle Pride Parade. Downtown to Seattle Center via 4th Ave.  Parade starts at 11 a.m. at 4th & Union.
