The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
King County currently remains in a modified Phase 1 of Gov. Jay Inslee's 'Safe Start' reopening plan. Accordingly, all special events, sporting events, and concerts have been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled until further notice, unless noted below.
- May 4 - Late-June: Paving & striping work on N 50th St. and N 40th St. in the Green Lake and Wallingford neighborhoods.
- June 8th - TBD: I-5 Express Lanes close at 8 p.m. nightly until further notice.
- June 18: Full closure of the SR99 Tunnel. Thur 9 p.m. - Fri 4 a.m.
- June 18: Lane reductions on NB SR99 over the Aurora Bridge. Thur 9 p.m. - Fri 5 a.m.
- June 26 - 28: Closures on Westlake Ave N, EB Mercer St., Terry Ave N and Republican St. for a crane operation. Fri 7 p.m. - Sun 7 p.m.
- June 26 & 27: Lane reductions on SB I-5 over the Ship Canal Bridge and the NE 45th St. on-ramp closed to SB I-5. Nightly 9 p.m.- 8:30 a.m.
