The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- February 29: Work on Stage 1 of the Denny Network Project begins at Minor Ave. & Stewart St. in Downtown Seattle.
- March 3 - 6: PAC-12 Women's Basketball Tournament at KeyArena.
- March 4 - 7: 5th Ave. and Columbia St. fully closed.
- March 5 & 6: SR99 Viaduct closed between S. Spokane St. and the Battery Street Tunnel for semi-annual inspection.
- March 6: Hot Chocolate 15K/5K will close streets in South Lake Union, Downtown, and on Aurora Ave. N.
- March 6: Seattle Sounders host Sporting Kansas City at 4PM at CenturyLink Field.
- March 11 - 14: Eastbound I-90 closed between Seattle and Bellevue. Traffic will be diverted to the express lanes.
- March 14: Roosevelt Way NE Paving and Safety Improvements project begins.
