The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Jan. 4 - March 15: Connect 2020 Sound Transit project continues with service reductions and one final weekend closure March 14 - 15.
- March 7: Seattle Sounders host the Columbus Crew SC at CenturyLink Field. Kickoff at 7 p.m.
- March 9 - May 8: University St. closed between Alaskan Way and Western Ave for waterfront construction, 24/7.
- March 13: Full northbound closure of the SR 99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance. Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 8 a.m.
- March 13 - 15: No Link service between SODO and Capitol Hill. Trains will stop running 9 p.m. on Friday and will resume 5AM Monday.
- March 14: Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place along 4th Ave in downtown. Parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. at 4th & James.
- March 15: St. Pat's Dash will start and finish at the Seattle Center Sunday morning. The run will also close the northbound lanes of SR 99 between South Lake Union and the Aurora Bridge.
