The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

  • June 7 - 8: Full closure of the SR99 Tunnel, Fri 10 p.m. - Sat 8 a.m.
  • June 9: Annual Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and Half Marathon races will close streets from Downtown Seattle to North Seattle.
  • June 14 - 17: Mercer St. fully closed westbound from Fairview Ave N to Boren Ave N, SB I-5 exit closed, Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 4 a.m.
  • June 14 - 16: The mainline of SB I-5 closed and traffic diverted to the collector/distributor, nightly 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
  • June 14 - 17: The Aurora Bridge reduced to one lane in each direction, Fri 7 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
  • June 15: University of Washington Commencement at Husky Stadium. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Procession begins at 1:30 p.m.
  • June 22 & 23: Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
