The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Sept. 23 - 27: Ramp closure of 9th Ave and Pike St. Express Ramp, 9 p.m. - 4 a.m.
- Sept. 24 - 27: Seattle Mariners host the Oakland A's At Safeco Field, 7:10 p.m. games.
- Sept. 27: WSDOT and First Responders are conducting emergency response drills for the new tunnel, 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Sept. 28 - 29: Rainier Square Mat Pour, 10 p.m. on 28th - 4 p.m. on 29th.
- Sept. 29: Seattle Sounders host Colorado Rapids at CenturyLink Field, 1 p.m.
- Sept. 29: UW Huskies host BYU at Husky Stadium, kickoff at 5:30 p.m.
- Sept. 29 - 30 & Oct. 6 - 7: Fairview Ave will be closed Southbound from Thomas St. to Denny Way, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Oct. 12 - 15: SR 99 Southbound will be closed from the south end of the Battery St. tunnel to S. Spokane St., Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Oct. 12 - 15: NB I-5 will be reduced to 2 lanes from MLK to Olive Way, Fri 8 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Oct. 19 - 22: SR-99 will be fully closed from the West Seattle Bridge to the Battery St. tunnel, Fri 9 p.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
