Scope of Work:
The purpose of the proposed project is for SSA Terminals (Seattle Terminals) LLC (SSAT) to install the necessary electrical infrastructure to supply power for up 960 new refrigerated containers. To ensure completion of this project on schedule, it is the intent of SSAT to procure the necessary substations and enclosures, have it manufactured, and shipped to the site during the construction of the site work. This package includes four (4) substations and enclosures necessary to complete the electrical upgrades on schedule.

The selected Vendor will be required to furnish, deliver, and provide onsite commissioning support for four substations and enclosures as indicated in the drawings and technical specifications included in this solicitation. The Vendor shall note Buy American requirements based on the work being partially funded by a USDOT Maritime Administration (MARAD) Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) Grant
and will be subject to Buy American Requirements.

Estimated Contract Price: approximately $6.0 to $7.0 million

Proposal Due Date: Proposals will be received via email at T5ReeferEarlyProcurement_Substations@kpff.com until 11:00 AM on July 28, 2023. Late bids will not be accepted.
