The Northwest Seaport Alliance awarded Quest for Quality Award for the fifth consecutive year
The Northwest Seaport Alliance is recognized for its commitment to quality and service.
Each year since its formation, the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) has received a Quest for Quality Award from Logistics Management.
As one of twelve ports recognized for “hitting exceptionally high service levels,” the NWSA received the second-highest overall score for West Coast ports.
Readers evaluated North American ports using five criteria: ease of doing business, value, ocean carrier network, intermodal network, and equipment and operations.
Winners are selected by the magazine’s readers—the buyers of logistics and freight transportation services. From more than 4,100 responses, each port had to receive at least 5% of the category vote to qualify for a win.
“Despite the high import demand and supply chain challenges impacting West Coast ports this year, the Northwest Seaport Alliance has navigated the uncertainties of this past year and we take great pride in receiving this distinction,” stated Tong Zhu, NWSA’s Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer.
“We prioritize the needs of our customers and remain committed to exceptional service and performance excellence that keeps our gateway efficient and operational.”
The complete list of winners for the 38th Annual Quest for Quality Awards is featured in the magazine’s August issue.
